About Williamsburg Guide

Williamsburg Guide is an independent directory focused on one neighborhood: Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Most citywide guides treat Williamsburg as a single stop on a much longer list. We only cover this neighborhood, which means every category — bars, brunch, restaurants, coffee, and things to do — gets the depth a citywide site doesn't have room for.

How listings are chosen

Listings are sourced from public business information (name, address, hours, contact details) and reviewed for relevance to the neighborhood before publishing. We link out to Google Maps for full reviews rather than reproducing them, and we show a rating and review count rather than copying review text.

Keeping listings current

Business hours, ownership, and even whether a business is still open can change. If you spot something out of date, or you run a business in Williamsburg that isn't listed yet, use the Add a Listing page to let us know.

Photos

We don't use Google Maps photo links, since those are temporary and break over time. Listings without a submitted photo show a simple placeholder instead of a broken image.
