Duff's Brooklyn is a heavy metal dive bar on Marcy Avenue that's been around since the late 1990s — it marked its 26th anniversary in January 2025. The walls are layered in graffiti, skulls, and band posters under red lighting, the jukebox runs deep on metal, and a 1990 Cadillac Brougham hearse (a past Coney Island Mermaid Parade award-winner) is part of the decor. Regular events include an annual Peter Steele tribute night, Dimebag Darrell guitar raffles benefiting the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, and an in-house “Wheel of Misfortune” game for drink and jukebox prizes. It's cheap, loud, and unapologetically a metalhead's bar.
