The Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, founded by Yuko Nii, runs themed materials-based art exhibitions, a monthly Pentiment Series of experimental live music, and open calls for artists in a historic Broadway building. It also rents its space out for film production and other events, and runs a salon-style art club with internship and volunteer opportunities. As of this writing, the Center is closed until further notice due to water damage from a July toilet overflow — worth checking their site before a visit.
